What is Dune?

Recently on the 1st of March Dune Part Two the sequel to this movie released and has received massive praise form fans and moviegoers. Positives:
Dune Part One is a stunning, cinematic, masterpiece of science fiction film making, Directed by Denis Villeneuve Dune Part One is the first Part in a 2 part movie based on Frank Herberts Dune Novel released in 1965, I saw dune Part One for the first time a few weeks ago after renting it on prime video and even without watching it in theatres I enjoyed it more than I would if I was watching just some generic movie at home instead of the theatres, I enjoyed this movie more than any movie i've seen in a while, this film contains some of the best visual effects, Acting, CGI, sound design i've seen in modern film making, it is a movie we need right now.
Negatives:
in my honest opinion i found no negatives in this movie, it was a blast to watch and i found it amazing but three are a few negatives some audiences may have a problem is, as this movie is 2 and a half hours long one it might take a while for you to get into it, with a story as deep as this and can be called a more political view on star wars it may be a little complicated to keep up with if focused and determined to be into it the movie. The film is also very different compared the 1984 Dune movie staring Kyle MacLachlan, unlike this film it is the entire book in one movie, this movie is a two parter and delves more into the books lore than the 84 movie did.
My Honest opinion:
I find this movie to be one of the best movies i've seen in a long time and i am not overreacting, i find this movie the peak of science fiction movies over the past 50 years ever since Star Wars released in 1977, unfortunately the star wars brand has dropped off ever since 2015s The Force Awakens and in a world primarily consisting of lacklustre Superhero movies this is a movie we need right now even if it came out 3 years ago.
