Parkside have been working on a new garden project, this includes an above ground vegetable patch and a herb wall. Students have been involved in preparing the gardens and will be planting herbs such as coriander, mint, sage, tyme and vegetables such as carrots, snow peas, cucumbers, tomatoes, corn and chilies. All plants and garden beds were donated by Bunnings. Students will learn to care for the plants as they grow and learn to cook with these healthy ingredients. This will be a safe place for students where they can relax, enjoy nature and be proud of their hard work.
