On Tuesday the 29th of November, Year 7 Japanese students were lucky enough to experience a Yaki Soba incursion. During this incursion they got to enjoy eating traditional fried noodles and green tea. The aim of this experience was to put the students understanding of Japanese culture to the test by allowing them to create a traditional meal with their peers. The students had an amazing experience with their peers and were able to embrace and respect other cultures while also enjoying a delicious meal.
Extra information- students got to eat the food that they made as a reward for the effort they put in to their cooking
Here is what the students had to say:
"It was deliciously wonderful!!! A great way to spend the afternoon."
"I got to help cook, and it tasted so good that I want to do it all over again."
