Where This Started
In the playground… Ok, I’ll give you more detail. Apparently one of our beloved teachers was on duty talking to a year eleven student. The conversation went into how Pokemon is just teaching kids slavery… WAIT, NO, THIS IS ALL WRONG! I am here to tell any parents or adults that your favourite childhood is nowhere near slavery, but it’s rival may be. Anyway, that is not what is important now, because no one should have that idea about one of Nintendo’s games. Hell, any of Nintendo’s games.
The Pokeball
This circular device is offered to the Pokemon trainer’s start into the world. Catching Pokemon is its use, that may seem bad at first but there is responsibility and love. The Pokemon in the wild don’t have anyone (maybe except family),there is a reason Pokemon get caught. The Pokemon in the wild are scared and they hunt to find food. They might come across you, this may start a battle between the wild Pokemon and yours. The reason they attack is they need food to survive(just like animals in real life), yet again you have the options to attack back, run away and catch the Pokemon.
Daily Life
Pokemon are living in houses as pets, friends or helpers. Specific Pokemon can help for different jobs as well. For example: Chansey is a medic Pokemon, they help nurses in Poke-Centers. Rotom is good for electronic businesses. Jigglypuff can help the elderly or young children by singing them to sleep and taking sweet care of them. Lapras can lift people across bodies of water. Digglet can help with digging. And Conkledurr can help with building. These Pokemon aren’t held against their will, they choose to be part of society. Even Pokemon like Onix can be a roommate for you.
Gods
Arceus is the god of the world of Pokemon, oh, and won’t you look at that, Arceus is a Pokemon. The Pokemon that created life from only a void of darkness. Mesprit is the god of the emotions in the world of Pokemon, which is also a Pokemon. Kyogore is the god of water and rain which can create large bodies of water in the world of Pokemon, which is also a Pokemon. This is where you might not want to read the same stuff over and over. You might not want to listen to this rant, but if you want to, read on, if not then stop reading. Mew is the last of the gods I will speak about. Mew is basically the ancestors of all Pokemon. Mew is all the Pokemon in this world and all the Pokemon in this world is Mew. These Pokemon are responsible for how the world is. They would have the Pokemon’s favour over the humans by an unspeakable amount.
Enemies
Pokemon is an adventure and will that the hero has to overcome enemies. One very infamous one is Team Rocket, with Jessie, James and their Pokemon Meowth. Almost all of the villain clans want some sort of power. Power from Pokemon. They trap Pokemon and hurt them in labs or experiments to become powerful. Yes, there may be some bad people but god is never on their side, they have no one but themselves. In the games or shows the enemy is always in the wrong. The Humans, Pokemon and everything else wants Pokemon to be free and they want the Pokemon to have what they deserve and want. Never are you putting Pokemon in cages or anything like that. Professor Oak even wants you to save the Pokemon and your companion gets to experience the world just like you as both of you two age next to each other.
Did you mean Palworld?
Oh wait… Palworld is what they are describing?? Well, I only have one thing to say about that. You are completely correct. In my opinion Palworld is the slavery version of Pokemon. You can force Pals(Palworld’s version of Pokemon) to slavery and attach guns and other stuff to them. I, myself have never played Palworld but have seen glimpses of it online. It doesn’t just show slavery against Pals but also other people since you can catch other people in the game. I have no idea how this game is for kids 12 years olds.
Intro to Pokemon
Could you please sing this with me?
I wanna be the very best.
Like no one ever was.
To catch them is my real test.
To train them is my cause.
I will travel across the land.
Searching far and wide.
Teach Pokémon to understand.
The power that's inside.
Pokémon (gotta catch 'em all), it's you and me.
I know it's my destiny. (Pokémon)
Oh, you're my best friend.
In a world we must defend.
Pokémon (gotta catch 'em all), a heart so true.
Our courage will pull us through.
You teach me and I'll teach you.
Pokémon. (gotta catch 'em all)
Gotta catch 'em all, yeah.
Pokémon
Pokemon Indigo League Intro. Here you can see the obvious hints towards this show.
Paragraph 1, Line 3-4 = To catch Pokemon will test the trainer and training the Pokemon is what we must do.
Paragraph 2, Line 3-4 = Helping Pokemon understand that they are powerful and can do what they want.
Paragraph 3, Line 1 = Showing that Pokemon and humans are in this world together going through their challenges.
Paragraph 3, Line 3 = Pokemon will bond with humans to become your best friend.
Paragraph 3, Line 7 = We teach Pokemon the way we live if they please, also listening and learning from Pokemon.
This intro shows that this series is more than a catch, battle, win story that people see on the outside.
Conclusion
What were these people even thinking about in the first place? Pokemon is the game/show that brought Nintendo’s name higher. Not that they need fame, but because Nintendo is a company that makes enjoyable games for the young and tons of family fun. Think of ‘Super Mario Bros.’, ‘Kirby’, ‘Animal Crossing’ and ‘Pikman’. Nintendo’s games are amazing but this game shows that Nintendo is really for family and fun. Tell me Wii Sports is bad, tell me. I can not listen to this phrase. It is such a lie, just like how Pokemon is teaching kids wrong. I mean, adults nowadays probably played Pokemon as a kid. Are you making your pets and animals slaves? That would be so cruel and wrong if you did. I only know that the statement against Pokemon is overruled tremendously by so much information and people.
‘You can think what you want, just keep it to yourself.’
