For R U OK Day 2023, Albion Park High School acknowledged it by having the students participate in wearing yellow and having a bake sale filled with yummy treats such as brownies, cookies and meringues.
R U OK Day is very important as it acknowledges the significance of mental health. It’s a day that reminds you to ask your friends how they are and if they are doing okay. Without schools participating in R U OK Day, teenagers and staff will continue to be silenced due to their own struggles with mental health issues. Make sure to ask your friend if they are okay, even if it’s not R U OK day :)
