This week , during Wednesday assembly, Albion Park High has elected new school leaders to follow in the footsteps of our excellent 2022 leaders. The school leader's role in the school is to host the assemblies every second day of the week, and deliver messages to the kids to tell them what is happening in the upcoming weeks.
The school leader is a very important job because it shows the kids what a responsible leader and committed student looks like. School leaders are able to understand the students more and are able to bring thoughts up to the school committee group to make school more enjoyable.
These leaders are elected by both teachers and students to make sure that the people that are elected is the right person for the job. The people trying out for school leaders need to present a speech in front of the school explaining how they can make the school a better place.
Here’s what APHS students have to say about the type of leader that they want from the school. Potential captains, listen up!!

"A person that is not aggressive, funny, kind and easy to talk to." Leyland Strandberg.
