The Creative Corner: Year 7 Book Review

Updated: Sep 16, 2022

I found Reboot very enjoyable. It includes traumatic scenes when they are on the run, romantic loves scenes between Callum 22 and Wren 178, an awesome break-in and break-out scenes, and wonderful descriptions that the Amy Tintera creates! Amy is known for the exciting “Ruined” series and “All These Monsters”. It wasn’t a big surprise when reading Reboot to see every chapter full of brilliant description and action packed scenes!

Reboot takes place in the future in Texas. One moment short, blonde haired Wren 178 and tall, green eyed Callum 22 are walking amongst the shiny walls of HARC, the next moment they are running through the slums on missions or escaping, running in and out of houses and buildings and big forest trees! Then they are crash landing in the desert after going through one of the best scenes I have ever read!

Reboot is one of the best books I’ve read. Although it is long, it is worth it. Reboot is full of action, romance and drama, leaving you at the edge of your seat waiting to read what happens next. I recommend Reboot to an audience 13 years and older since there are some scenes younger ears and eyes may not want to hear or read, such as lots of killing and talk about more adult-like scenes. Despite that, it is a very good book and I enjoyed reading it! Amy Tintera definitely knows how to write a good job!
